Los Osos Pet Hospital is a long time supporter of local humane organizations and rescue groups in their efforts to seek homes and medical treatment for those less fortunate animals in our community. We offer low and no cost medical services including health exams, vaccinations, viral testing, and preventative medicine as our contribution to what our local groups are trying to accomplish. In 2008 our facility conducted just over 350 spays and neuters for rescue groups in our area. We would like to ask all of our clients to show their support to these non-profit organizations and consider them first when thinking about adoption. Any client that decides to adopt from local rescue groups will receive a courtesy first examination at our hospital.

Los Osos Pet Hospital provides medical treatment for local rescued wildlife including raccoons, opposums, numerous avian species, deer, and others. These services are offered in support to Pacific Wildlife Care (PWC). PWC is a Morro Bay based wildlife group whos mission is to rehabilitate and return to the wild, injured or orphaned wildlife, and to educate our community to value and respect wildlife and the environment we share with them. PWC is always looking for motivated volunteers and supply donations to help them provide as much support to our community as possible.

Los Osos Pet Hospital provides educational tours and group events for our local elementary schools, Head Start program, and local Boy Scout troops. Our interactive hospital visits help teach children how important their pet's health is and how they can make sure their furry friends stay happy and healthy for years to come.
